Permanent cosmetics is for you if you like to wear makeup but you simply do not have the time to apply it every day or perhaps you enjoy laying out at the pool, going to beaches or have an active life style.
Sensitivity varies with each individual. Before any procedure a topical anesthetic is applied and allowed to set for at least 20-30 minutes depending on the procedure. Additional application of topical anesthesia may be applied during the treatment. Most clients remain very comfortable throughout the entire procedure.
After the procedure most clients experience some redness and slight swelling on the treated area. This is temporary and usually subsides within a few hours for eyeliner and brows. Lip procedures may take approximately 1-2 days. Most clients are able to return to work or other social activities the same day.
Do I have a choice of colors?" text="Absolutely! There is a range of colors to choose from and the practitioner will help you find the best match.
Five to seven days is the initial healing period and four to six weeks for the pigment to become permanently incorporated in the location of treatment.
During the period of three to six weeks, there will be a slight fading of the pigment. Fading will depend on the procedure and the client’s skin condition. For example, if you have oil skin or large pores, the pigment will fade quicker. Your color will soften with time. Therefore, touch-ups are required.
All clients should return for a touch-up appointment between 4-6 weeks post procedure. Any adjustments or pigment that was lost during the healing process can be replaced at this time.
This varies with each individual person, though the usual duration is between two to three years, it will depend on various factors (e.g., medications, sun exposure, skin type, etc.). Proper after-care of the treated area will help prolong the results such as avoiding direct sun light, tanning and chlorinated water.
